New Roads Swimmers Success Continues
It was another great meet for the New Roads swim team last Friday against Brentwood, Archer and Windward!
All the swimmers achieved personal best times in their events--Jared in the 50 Free and 100 Free, Lucas in the 100 Free and 200 Free, Marlin in the 50 Free, Ben in the 200 IM and 200 Free relay, and Daria in the 50 Free and 100 Free. Additionally, Daria placed 1st in the varsity girls 50 Free and Jared swam the 50 Free in only 29 sec!
All the swimmers continue to set new school records as they gain more and more confidence and their skills improve. We all look forward to their continued success.
Congratulations to Ben and Daria--the respective boys and girls swim captains of the New Roads swim team.
Also many thanks to Bill Webb, High School Director, and Nick Davidson, Athletic Director, who attended Friday's meet to cheer and show support to our team!
